Chris Berry, M.Ed.
Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach

Chris Berry joins the team at Active Recovery Network with a deep commitment to helping individuals move forward with a sense of clarity and purpose. With over a decade of experience in student travel, life coaching and group facilitation, Chris specializes in helping individuals build self-awareness, resilience and a renewed sense of direction, especially during life’s more challenging transitions.

Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Experiential Learning and Development, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His path to licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) reflects his dedication to ongoing growth and staying grounded in best practices for client care.

Throughout his career, Chris has been known for meeting people where they are, creating space for honest reflection and weaving humor into the healing process. His approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that connection is a powerful catalyst for change.

Outside of sessions, Chris finds joy in coastal living and community-building. He’s often exploring North County neighborhoods, trying something new in an improv class, or knee-deep in a DIY home project. A proud uncle, he never misses a chance to spend time with his niece and nephew, and he’ll gladly nerd out over the latest superhero movie with anyone who’s interested.

As a self-proclaimed “forever student” Chris lives on the motto: “I will be done living, once I am done learning”.
