Stephanny Perea, Psy.D / Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach
Stephanny earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, Merced in Merced California in 2012. She continued her academic journey in San Diego, California and earned a Masters degree and Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D) in Clinical Forensic Psychology. She graduated in 2017 with her doctorate degree and worked at a psychiatric hospital providing therapy to adults and children from ages 6 and up, suffering from severe mental illness, suicidal ideation and addiction.
For the past 4 years, she focused on psychological trauma and worked with active duty service members to process painful emotions and create resilience. Stephanny uses mindfulness skills training to help clients increase self-awareness and develop insight into their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. She believes that the more we understand ourselves, the easier it is to navigate challenges that come up in our lives. Stephanny also believes that everyone has the capacity to live a happy and fulfilled life. She is dedicated to teaching others about the mind/body connection and sharing the wonders of the human mind.
