Vickie Knick, Ph.D. / Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach

Vickie joins the Active Recovery Network with many years of experience and a passion for the healing profession. She believes in each individual’s capacity for change and enlightenment, and fosters that possibility by utilizing a combination of cognitive behavioral and client centered approaches. Vickie‘s clinical experience began when she worked with a variety of adolescent group homes, developmental disabilities, juvenile probation, private psychodiagnostic testing, and eventually outpatient and residential treatment for chemical dependency. She enjoys a challenge and has worked with clients of all ages and from varying cultures and backgrounds. 
Vickie earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University- Orange County in 2011 and found her passion working with those navigating recovery. During her educational endeavors, she conducted her doctoral research on resiliency factors among spouses and children of the military. Vickie is a 20 year military spouse and has lived all over the world, and a mom to 3 beautiful kiddos…..and one lovable mini schnauzer! She looks forward to assisting others reach their highest potential and life purpose!!
