Michelle Rose Gilman founded Fusion Academy in 1989 and has seen it grow to 50 campuses. She is the author of ten books and is a contributing blogger for the Huffington Post. She sits on the board for three non-profit organizations: The Invisible Disability Project, Rock to Recovery, and the Fusion Scholarship Foundation. She also sits on the board for Neurologics.  

Through her organization and coaching program, The Well-Heeled Warrior, she helps business owners thrive and succeed.  She has been honored to receive many awards during her career including the San Diego Business Journal Most Admired CEOs, Women Who Mean Business Awards, and the Inc. 500 Top Women Who Run Companies. She is the also the author of The Wanderlust Warrior Project, a book and movement to empower and inspire young women ages 13-23.  She is a life-long artist and owns Featherpunk Studio and W the Collections.  Most importantly, Michelle is a mother to Noah, a wife to Peter, a daughter to Linda, and mommy to her flatulent Boston Terrier, Wookiee.
